Introduction
Purchases represent 52% of Cilas’ turnover.
Given that this is a fundamental economic consideration, it is absolutely essential that our Purchases policy be clearly defined and expressed.
External Relations
The Buyer, or the Purchases service is the first unit entitled to receive, visit and negotiate with Suppliers.
As part of this, the Buyer can call on the support of an "internal customer" or "user" (design Bureau, Production, Quality manager, etc.) to contribute its technical expertise, with the Buyer handling commercial and economic considerations.
Short to midterm
In a highly competitive business context, Cilas must work to enhance its position on the market and secure new contracts.
To improve the profitability of the company, it is easier to intervene on purchases rather than sales. This is why it is essential that Purchases actively participate in meeting goals, enabling the Enterprise to make long-term savings.
Specifically, the themes on which the Purchases service must work are as follows:
Intervening as early as possible in the overall process, and making proposals.
Making critical and/or strategic purchases secure.
Reducing purchasing costs.
Enhancing administrative management.
Enhancing the organization.
Participating in the optimization in quality measures. |
